Christ Nagar Higher Secondary School, Kowdiar, Thiruvananthapuram, and College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 30 October 2025 with the objective of strengthening collaboration in the field of engineering education and student development. The partnership aims to create opportunities that encourage innovation, skill development, and exposure to higher education and technical learning among students.
The collaboration has been established to promote academic and technical engagement through meaningful activities and guidance programs. It focuses on providing mentorship and support to students interested in engineering, creating awareness about career opportunities in the field, and encouraging them to explore their interests through practical experiences and interactions with experts.
As part of this initiative, both institutions will work together to organize workshops, seminars, training sessions, and student interaction programs. The collaboration also includes facilitating educational visits to the College of Engineering campus, enabling mentorship opportunities involving faculty and students, and promoting research-oriented and project-based learning experiences among higher secondary students.
The partnership further aims to support students in developing technical knowledge, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Faculty members and mentors from the college will provide guidance and assistance in various activities, while the school will identify interested students, facilitate participation, and coordinate the implementation of programs.
This collaborative initiative reflects the shared vision of both institutions to empower students with meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom and to inspire them to pursue academic excellence and future opportunities in science, technology, and engineering.
