A Historical Sketch
The contributions made by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), the first indigenous Catholic Congregation of India, in the educational field of Kerala were pioneering and revolutionary. St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of the CMI Congregation, founded the first Catholic School of Kerala at Mannanam in1846. All the other CMI Monasteries also followed that movement. In the year 1864, St. Chavara, in his capacity as the Vicar General of the Syro-Malabar Church, ordered all the parishes to start schools adjacent to them. This historic order triggered the emergence of a galaxy of educational institutions all over the State. It also became the basis of the socio-economic development of the whole State.

The Computer Laboratory at our school is a modern learning space that promotes digital literacy, creativity, and innovation. Equipped with 48 computer systems with internet connectivity and a multimedia projector, the lab provides students from the LP, UP, HS, and HSS sections with access to a wide range of digital learning resources.
The school has taken a leased line internet connection for 24 hour service for the students and their parents. Christ Nagar Internet Club provides convenience to the students to browse the internet from 9.00 am to 9.00 p.m. All the students are members of the Internet Club.
The School Bus Service at Christ Nagar is designed to provide students with a safe, comfortable, and dependable mode of transportation. Covering a wide network of routes, the service ensures convenient access to the school for students from different parts of the city and surrounding areas.
