Christ Nagar Higher Secondary School celebrated Merit Day on 11 June 2025 with immense pride and grandeur, honouring the exceptional academic accomplishments of students in the ICSE and ISC Board Examinations. The occasion served as a celebration of perseverance, dedication, and excellence, recognizing the remarkable achievements of students who brought laurels to the institution.

The programme was graced by Ms. Manisha Asok, an alumna and All India Rank 24 holder in the UPSC IFS Examination 2025, as the Chief Guest. The event commenced with a prayer and a warm welcome, setting an inspiring and celebratory tone for the gathering. Addressing the students, the Chief Guest congratulated the achievers on their outstanding performance and encouraged them to continue pursuing excellence with determination, passion, and commitment in all their future endeavours.

The highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of the school’s meritorious students, whose academic brilliance and hard work earned them well-deserved recognition. In the ISC stream, 3 toppers and 10 high achievers were honoured, while in the ICSE stream, 5 toppers and 65 high achievers were recognized for their exceptional academic performance. Mementos were presented to the awardees as a token of appreciation for their dedication and achievements.

The ceremony proudly celebrated the outstanding performances of the top achievers. In the ICSE stream, Abhiram A Narayan secured the first position with 496/500 (99.2%), while Rishi G and Abdul Haadhi R secured the second position with 493/500 (98.6%). Ananya Kumar secured the third position with 490/500 (98%), and Saira Grace SR secured the fourth position with 485/500 (97%).

In the ISC stream, Niranjana Rajesh emerged as the top scorer with 397/400 (99.25%), followed by Vismaya Unnikrishnan with 392/400 (98%), and Advaith Nair with 391/400 (97.75%).
