The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces and one of the largest uniformed youth organizations in the world. Established in our school in 1999, the NCC has been instrumental in nurturing disciplined, responsible, and patriotic young citizens. The programme aims at developing character, comradeship, leadership, a secular outlook, sportsmanship, and a spirit of selfless service among students.
Through regular training, parades, camps, community service activities, and adventure programmes, cadets are provided with opportunities to enhance their physical fitness, leadership qualities, and teamwork skills. Activities such as trekking, expeditions, and camp participation encourage resilience, confidence, and community living. The NCC creates a supportive environment that motivates students to become responsible citizens and future leaders, while also inspiring many to consider careers in the Defence Services and other fields of national service.
