Christ Nagar Higher Secondary School (ICSE & ISC), Kowdiar, ushered in the Academic Year 2026–27 with a series of inspiring inaugural celebrations held from 3 June to 8 June, 2026. The festivities commenced with the Re-Opening and Freshers’ Day programme of Christ Nagar Higher Secondary School, themed “Step In, Shine On,” featuring the flag hoisting by Principal Rev. Fr. Jojo Vadakkeparampil CMI, an inspiring inaugural address by Rev. Dr. Thomas Chathamparampil CMI, Manager, Christ Nagar Group of Schools, felicitations by PTA President Mr. Denise Jacob. A warm welcome to the freshers into the Christ Nagar family, the release of the School Magazine and cultural performances were the highlights of the day.

The celebrations continued with the Inauguration of Lower KinderGarten on 4 June, attended by around 110 students and their parents, where Rev. Fr. Jojo Vadakkeparampil CMI emphasized on activity-based learning, value formation, and holistic development, while Vice Principal Mrs. Usha R distributed goodies to the children. The inaugural celebrations concluded with the Opening Ceremony of Pre-KinderGarten on 8 June, which was attended by 32 students and their parents and marked by the ceremonial inauguration by the Principal, a joyful palm-printing activity, distribution of goodies, and an orientation highlighting the school’s FLN-aligned learning environment.

Together, these events reflected Christ Nagar’s unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds through values, creativity, joyful learning and excellence, setting a promising tone for the academic year ahead.
