During the fifth session of Soulful Conversations on 27th October 2024, Dr. Sharan Murali, an esteemed alumnus from the 2010 batch and a scientist at ICMR Chennai, captivated the students of standard 9 with his insights and experiences in the field of medical research. His engaging interaction sparked curiosity and motivation among the students, encouraging them to pursue their dreams with dedication. Dr. Sharan’s achievements reflect the excellence nurtured at our school, making this session a truly enriching experience for all.

The students of our school showcased their immense talent and dedication at the ASISC Zonal Competitions,held at Loyola and Holy Angel’s ISC school, Trivandrum on 19 October 2024,bringing home a remarkable array of accolades for various categories. Western Solo – 3rd Prize: Rinita Riju (11Q) This fantastic achievement underscores the hard work and artistry of our students, who have brought pride and recognition to our institution.

Dr. Haridas M. Nair (Alumnus, Batch of 2005), Consultant in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, engaged in a meaningful and enlightening session with our 10th-grade students. During this Soulful Conversation, he reflected on his inspiring journey, fondly recalling his school days .Besides ,he shared valuable career guidance. Beyond his expertise in Radiation Oncology, he conveyed that understanding people requires only a little kindness and goodness. His insights and experiences opened a new chapter on humanity, love, and patience for the students of Christ Nagar HSS.

The 46th Annual Science Fair, held on 18 & 19, October 2024, highlighted the creativity and scientific ingenuity of students under the theme "Innovate to Elevate." It was inaugurated by Dr. M .Abdul Rahiman, Director of the LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Trivandrum, who emphasized the importance of innovation for societal progress. Key attractions included department -led pageantry , a Space Odyssey stall in collaboration with Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, and an exhibition of human biological specimens. An inter-school science quiz was also conducted where Sarvodaya Vidyalaya ,emerged as the winner of the Fr.Gerard Memorial ever rolling trophy. Prizes were also given for the best individual exhibits and to the best division from each class for their contributions.

The Star Day was celebrated on 3rd September 2024 to honour the academic achievers of the First Terminal Examination. Students were awarded Ruby, Gold, Silver, and Blue Stars based on their outstanding performance. There were 1112-star holders in total Out of which 252 were Ruby Stars ,316 Gold Stars ,217 Silver Star and 267 Blue Stars.Prizes were also presented to the classes that secured the highest points.
