Fr Dr Mathew Thengumpally CMI, our esteemed Principal, has been awarded the prestigious Derozio Award for Education and Human Enrichment 2024, instituted by the CISCE, New Delhi. Staff and students congratulated him on this well-deserved recognition, celebrating his outstanding leadership and steady commitment to education.

Lifology, a Guinness World Record winning Ed-tech organisation has awarded our school with Citation of Eminence for the Principal. The eminent 50 was selected from 1000 Indian schools across India and the Middle East. The function was graced by prominent educationists like CBSE Director Dr Biswajith Saha, Dr Merliyn Maze (USA - APCDA), Ambassador (Frmr) TP Sreenivasan, Dr Mukesh Kapila (University of Manchester), Dr Jebamalai (Frmr Principal Advisor to United Nations Industrial Development Organisation, UNIDO), Iryna Poladko (Life Coach, Russia).

Christ Nagar Higher Secondary School rose to distinction once again when we were conferred the most prestigious accreditation of ISO 9001:2015 in recognition of Quality Management and Best Infrastructure.

The British Council International School Award recognises and celebrates exemplary practices of internationalism in school. It is a benchmarking scheme that accredits schools having outstanding levels of support for enriching teaching and learning. Christ Nagar was re-accredited with the prestigious Award for the third consecutive term on 15 December, 2017.

The Muslim Educational Society (MES), Trivandrum District Committee, celebrated a function to give away the Award for Promotion of Religious Harmony, on 12 June, 2018, 10 a.m., at MES Centre. (located behind Govt. Secretariat, Trivandrum). The function saw the presence of Shri. Palode Ravi, Former Deputy Speaker, Kerala Legislative Assembly, Shri. M. Vincent MLA and Shri. T.V. Ibrahim MLA, besides official dignitaries of MES. The Principal of Christ Nagar Higher Secondary School, Rev. Dr. Kurian Chalangady CMI was conferred this prestigious Award for the year 2018. It makes us proud to note that Rev. Father Principal was selected from among 14 other nominees who were outstanding in social, charitable and religious engagements.
