Christ Nagar Higher Secondary School celebrated this years onam on an online platform in the most splendid way. Rev.Fr. Augustine Thottanani CMI(Former Principal St.Joseph College Devagiri) was the chief guest of the day. Rev.Fr.Paul Mangad CMI ,Manager Christ Nagar group of institution and Rev.Dr.Mathew Thengumpally CMI, Principal Christ Nagar Higher Secondary school conveyed greetings and wishes of the festival. The day turned out to be colour full by the various cultural programmes performed by the students, though they are stuck at homes. It was highly impressive that they came up with a spectacular performance and enjoyed the spirit of the festival.

Cyber Crime Awareness

A Webinar on "Cyber Crime Awareness" was conducted on 17 August 2021, in Google meet and YouTube. Our Principal Rev Dr. Mathew Thengumpally CMI welcomed the guests. Sri. Balram Kumar Upadhyay IPS, Inspector General & Commissioner of Police, inaugurated the programme. Sri Dinil J K, Asst. Commissioner of Police, District Crime Records Bureau (I/C Cyber cell), gave the keynote address. Class on Cyber Crime awareness was taken by Sri. Prasanth. R.S (Senior Civil Police Officer, Cyber cell). The class was very informative.

Independence Day Celebration

The social science club celebrated the 75th independence day. We presented a video on YouTube "Remembering our Freedom Fighters and their efforts".

Youth Festival

The 2nd virtual Youth Festival 0f the academic year 2021-22 began with the inaugural ceremony on 22nd July 2021.Shri. Vidhu Pratap was the chief guest who officially inaugurated the function. The event lasted for two days. Fadil Hameed P F (10 Q) emerged as Kalaprathibha with 35 points and Bhadrra R (11 Q) became the Kalathilakam with 64 points. Topper of the UP section was Swapna Mary Jacob (5P) with 36 points and Nita Janet (4P) with 37 points.

Colour day

The little ones of the kindergarten section celebrated colour day on the 10th of July 2021, with great enthusiasm and fervor. The screens of each teacher were resplendent with different hues of colours as children gleamed in colourful attires and backdrops in red, green, blue, yellow, orange and pink. Children displayed the craft items made by them and spoke about those things. We the teachers had a feeling that colourful butterflies were flying around us.
